Even though the cold weather continues, my friend Lily likes to celebrate her 40th birthday at Vietnamese Restaurant downtown. She invites me through my email address this afternoon. After my work I call her over the phone to confirm and say yes to her invitation. Well, weather is not a hindrance in terms of get together and birthday party like this. All we need to do is to put on proper winter wear such as warm winter clothes, winter boots, snow pants, winter coats, scarves, hats, gloves that are waterproof, to ensure that we are properly protected outside elements. Aside from that we need to drive carefully because the road is very slippery.

You know what? My uncle had an accident last week because of the slippery road. He is fine but his car has a problem. The front side was damaged. He needs excellent bodyshop service to fix his car. Hello! Good evening to everyone. How's the weather in your location today? Well, here in Canada, we experienced a heavy snow this morning. When I woke up and peep on the window, I saw a tremendous downfall of snow and everything around were almost color white. After I took a bath, I ate my breakfast and work. Hi! Good evening to everyone. I just arrived from work and immediately open my computer. While browsing the net, I found this very interesting website. It's a new and unique social consumer network that can makes us happy. It's great and have the fun while sharing our favorite stuff through pictures. All you have to do is to register new account, share some stuff you own or places you love and visited. It's so easy and fast to upload pictures.

You can also discuss topics, replies and visit other member's profile. Well, I got interested that is why I did not hesitate to sign up, create my account and upload my pictures. One of my picture was taken last first day of January 2009, during our New Year's party with friends and family. The name of the food is spring rolls, one of the most popular traditional Filipino dishes for Christmas gatherings, New Year, birthday and any special occasions. It's my favorite food, easy to prepare, you can made it in advance, frozen and fried just before being served. Most Filipinos keep it in the freezer not only for New Year but just if we have visitors unexpectedly and we can easily serve them quickly. Mostly we love to eat fried spring rolls with fingers or wrap them in a napkin and dip in a sauce. It's so delicious and once you taste it you really like it.

Happy New Year To All

Well, 2008 is over and we are now in the most challenging year the 2009. We have many wishes, dreams and lots of New Year resolution to fulfill this year and I hope I can make it even just one. One of my New Year resolutions is to loss weight. Why losing weight is the hardest thing to do? For me, it's really very hard to loss weight. I need to exercise, go walking and eat less this year 2009. Then secondly, I need to save more money and I promise to myself not to buy unimportant things. I think I will not mention the others here just the two. I only wish good health, peace of mind and happiness. Once again, happy new year to all.
